Appt to start working with Balance

Appt Corp recently agreed to start working with Pure Innovations, previously called Pure Innovations, a community interest company which seeks to promote independence and increased choice to people with learning disabilities.

Appt Corp has already implemented pre-existing work schemes with Mencap and Remploy, both of which are learning disability charities, both of whom now operate in a number of Appt Corp’s McDonalds in north and west London.

Such schemes provide the opportunity for suitable clients of all three charities to gain experience and improve their employability through working in the McDonald’s restaurants run by Appt Corp.

The Managing Director of Appt Corp, Atul Pathak said “Our new partnership with Pure Innovations in Kensington is another example of how we are ready and willing to help those who might need a little more help than others to access the world of work and use the experience to get their career going.”

Appt Corp and Pure Innovations will start offering work trials in the Kensington High Street restaurant from September.
