Atul Pathak Community Awards
The Atul Pathak Community Awards provide annual one-off donations of between £500 to £3,000 and a year-long corporate partnership to registered charities and community groups. The Atul Pathak Community Awards are designed to support smaller charities in local communities where our restaurants operate. A list of these can be found here.
What are the Atul Pathak Community Awards?
The 2018 Atul Pathak Community Awards were the 5th annual awards scheme designed not only to support community groups but also to highlight and celebrate the work that community groups do in their local areas.
As with previous years we have decided that we want to go even further in support of the good work that community groups do and focus the work in local communities by forming year-long partnerships with community groups, offering not just much needed financial support but also capacity support throughout the year.
Following on from our first awards in 2014, each year Appt Corporation hosts an awards and drinks reception in a London landmark venue. The winners receive a financial contribution to their organisation and a ‘Community Contract’ signed by Managing Director of Appt Corporation with a pledge that his company will support them for the ensuing year.
The 6th awards ceremony will be held on 19th June 2019. Applications are now open, please see the sidebar for more information on how to apply.
Who can apply?
We believe that operating a business and being socially responsible are inextricably linked; that it is our duty to give something back to the community with whom we have built a relationship over the years. With this in mind, the awards will be prioritised to those charities and community groups who work or are based within the local communities of our 37 restaurants based in London and Berkshire.
We will prioritise applications from charities who deliver their operations near to our restaurants and within the following London Boroughs and boroughs surrounding London in particular:
- London Borough of Barnet
- London Borough of Brent
- London Borough of Camden
- London Borough of Ealing
- London Borough of Enfield
- London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham
- London Borough of Hillingdon
- London Borough of Kensington & Chelsea

- Pan London – We may also accept outstanding applications from those charities and community groups who focus their work within London but with an emphasis on the above areas.
Supporting the community is not about dictating what we think the community needs, it is about supporting the needs of the community .”-Atul Pathak, Managing Director
We welcome applications for all types of projects for all types of community groups (not for profit) and registered charities with a turnover of less than £200,000 per annum.
